Our Gym team have specific qualifications and experience to provide an unrivalled experience for all members whether it’s your first time in the gym or you’re setting yourself a new deadlifting or squat personal best or target.
Our team are passionate about creating a fun and sociable atmosphere in the gym to ensure exercise is a choice not a chore. The team can offer all new members a programme and be on hand to continue providing help and advice for a successful and satisfying workout.
As a member, you can also take part in challenges aimed at everyone from beginner to elite athlete, attend health and fitness workshops or get event training advice.

Bristol Barbell Club previously known as Bristol Weightlifting Club is affiliated to the British Weightlifting Association (BWL).
Club membership benefits:
• Coached Sessions Monday and Wednesdays included in your membership (attendance is not compulsory)
• MYGYM’s Gym membership included
• Exclusive access to our own Bristol Barbell Club (aka MYGYM’s Strength and Conditioning area)
Olympic Weightlifting classes are overseen by Pete and Oscar Mondays and Wednesdday evenings
Our regular Olympic Weightlifting Classes are not your typical one where everyone does the same exercise(s) at the same time, it is more of an experienced lifters get on with their programme and beginners get extensive help from our coaches, however, coaches are always on hand for experienced lifters too.
Due to demand, we introduced nights for both Weightlifters and Powerlifters
Club nights are now as follows:
• Olympic Weightlifting: Mondays, Wednesdays 6-9pm
• Powerlifting: Tuesday and Thursdays 7-10pm
If you are an experienced Olympic Weightlifter and/or Powerlifter, you can use the area outside of class times 7 days a week during normal hours. If you are beginner we recommend you attend the classes under the very capable hands of our coaches first. All levels of experience are welcomed at Bristol Barbell Club.

MYGYM is about being a club/community where people can train together and on their own. But when help is needed the atmosphere is that of helping each other reach their goals.

As a member of SKY Taekwondo you will practice the Olympic recognised style “WTF” (World Taekwondo Federation) version of this fantastic Korean martial art. The club caters for everyone, from complete beginners to black belts, and you don’t need to be fit and flexible before joining SKY Taekwondo, although you soon will be!
Whether you looking for a fun way to keep fit, or to compete in competitions, our club SKY Taekwondo has a lot to offer. You will also be given the option to attend various competitions, seminars and fight camps which can take you as far away as South Korea.
